is Osteria Francescana’s little cousin.
Inspired by the contemporary Italian pantry with influences from culinary traditions around the peninsula as well as souvenirs from our travels, Francschetta58 is an unexpected deviation from a traditional osteria.

We will be closed for winter holidays from 24th to 26th December 2018 and from 1st to 15th January 2019.

Located in a semi-industrial area walking distance from the city center of Modena, Franceschetta58 was transformed from an ex-tyre shop into a light filled, colorful and lively restaurant animated by mix and match vintage plates, glassware and silverware.

Guests can choose to sit at one of the intimate tables or at the communal wood table with an appetizing view of the carefully selected Italian salumi and artisanal cheeses, homemade marmalades, pickles and freshly baked bread.

Open six days a week for lunch and dinner, Franceschetta58 offers an à la carte menu, a seasonal tasting menu with wine pairing as well as a smart lunch option.
The wine list of Franceschetta58 goes hand by hand with the dynamic identity of the kitchen and the casual atmosphere. It includes a selection of small cantinas and unfamiliar, unexpected labels, with a special focus on organic wines served both by the glass and by the bottle.
